GoodTunes™ exists to help music Win. In order for Music to win, Artist's have to win by earning more income for their work. This gives them the freedom to create great work instead of feeling obligated to please an algorithm — you know getting the hook in under 30 seconds to get paid, shortening the song to get more listens. And, when Artists win, Fans win because they get a better experience, Labels win, Publishers win, Distributors win and in the end, our Culture wins.

ARTISTS

Artists earn more. Fans get value. Music wins.

Our parent company GoGoods® offers fans with the same Full Personal Use Rights they’ve always enjoyed with their physical music  —  but, were denied with their digital music for the past 21+ years.

What do Artists get?

Artists make money with their music.

One GoGoods® Cloud Collectible™ (GCC) Album sale at $18 is equal to 5,140 streams. Artists can sell, and still stream.

Artists pay absolutely nothing.

Artists pay absolutely noting, nada, zilch, zip. GoGoods makes money when Artists make money. Providing them with 70% of sale revenue.

Artists receive secondary income for the first time.

Rights holders will make money with every transfer of ownership, forever (e.g. resale, gift, will).

In addition to your first sale, every single time your GCC EP or Album is sold, re-sold or changes hands, you make money. Forever. And, this is just the beginning of a new era in music. Even as important, your fans are your fans. With their permission, you have full access to them.

Fans

Collect. Play. Brag. Gift.Sell. Bid. Enjoy.

GCC Music unites the income & collectibility of physical music, with the convenience & portability of digital music, and Artists can still stream.

We’ve Got Your Number.

Each GCC EP or Album offers Fans an individually numbered, limited release (think the original White Album, but digital).

No GoodDeed™ Goes Unpublished.

Every GCC is provided with a uniquely numbered GoodDeed™ (a deed of the good) that can be printed, framed and hung on their wall.

Play Freely

Play your GCC EP or Album on the free GoodTunes™ Player. Available on the web or Apple and Google App Stores.

CLOUD COLLECTIBLE MUSIC

What is a Cloud Collectible?

A GoGoods® Cloud Collectible™ is an exclusive, playable asset, secured in the cloud. Music that you own, forever. All with no more messy downloads. Plus, your Cloud Collectible is always with you. And, they’ll never scratch, break, melt, or get lost.

Income & Collectibility

No matter the format, physical music has provided its buyers with a broad set of personal use rights. You can keep it, play it, sell it and gift it.

Now, you can do the same with GoGoods® Cloud Collectible Music™. It's the way that digital music should have always been.

Convenience and Portability.

From the Sony Walkman to the iPod to the iPhone, people are used to moving to their music, and having their music move with them.

GoGoods® provides the same convenience and portability that music listeners expect.

Artists can still stream

With GoGoods®, it's not either Collect or Stream, it's both! We believe that Streaming is a great discovery tool.

The challenge is, Streaming is not a great income tool for most Artists. This is where GoGoods comes in.

Wherever you are, so is your Music.

Our free GoodTunes™ Player is available on your desktop and mobile devices.

INDUSTRY

One for all, and all for Music.

We think "disruption" has become an overused word in the tech. One that has come to symbolize chaos (sometimes, just for the sake of chaos). GoodTunes is dedicated to working within the existing Music infrastructure, as we all work together to create an environment where Music wins.

Labels

Earn more money at scale. Your Artists can keep a 4-6 week drip plan with streaming and earn up to 500x more than steaming alone through their GCC sales.

DSPs

GCC EPs and Albums are additive to your revenue. Keep your streaming income, plus get an additional third of your monthly revenue with a single $18 GCC sale.

Distributors

Provide the option to have GCC as a choice to help your artists gain up to 500x over streaming alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this cost me anything?

No out-of-pocket costs. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

What do I earn per resale of my album?

Receive 70% of sales income - forever - based upon a 13.5% fee of the album sales price (or minimum flat fee of $2.44 if $18 or under).

Who owns the rights to my music?

You own all the right to your music. You only provide a similar license to your music as people who buy physical goods. They will have the ability to sell, resell and give away. BUT, unlike physical goods, you are paid every single time that new ownership occurs. Forever.

What do I earn per sale of my album?

Receive 70% of sales income (e.g. sell an album for $20, get $14).

What if none of my music is available on any streaming service or digital storefront?

Any album not currently featured on a DSP (e.g. Spotify or Apple Music) will be able to be played via the free GoodTunes player (available on web, Apple Store or Google Play).

How does GoodTunes work?

Simple. You get invited by one of your favorite artists. Or, you can sign up with us and we can invite you to artists as they are launched. Once invited, you create an account, and buy the album. Then, you can play it on our free player.

How much do they cost?

Most EPs are around $15. Albums around $25. But, unlike old-fashioned digital music that only allows you to buy it (and it's illegal to resell it or give it away), you can resell your GoodTunes music or even hand it down to your kids.

Are there monthly fees?

No, you can register and use the platform for free. The only costs are related to the purchase of music.

Where can I play my music?

We created a built-in player so you can play all your songs, even (and specially) the exclusive ones or that haven’t been released into streaming yet.

How does GoodTunes benefit my favorite artist?

Currently Artists earn 3/10 of a penny on a stream that is listened to more than 30 seconds. If it's 29 seconds or less, not only does the Artist get paid $0.00, but they may lose their place in the streaming service's algorithm. With GoodTunes an Artist will earn around $13 of immediate income! At the same time, fans get a limited edition collectible of the music they love.

Is there a GoodTunes app?

Yes, it is available on the App Store and the Google Play Store.
