The first Music format to offer full personal use rights, since the CD.

GoodTunes™ offers fans with the same full personal use rights they’ve always enjoyed with their physical music  —  but, were denied with their digital music for the past 21+ years. This means the ability to collect, resell and even will.

Music’s a part of everyone’s life. Everyone. Music’s been around forever.
It will always be around. This is not a speculative market.
And because it’s a part of everyone’s life, it’s a very large target market all around the world.

Announcing the iPod, 2001

One less thing.

Twenty years ago, this year, the iTunes Store was launched. It provided us all with 200,000 of the world's favorite tracks, for only $0.99 a song. Apple sold 1 Million tracks in their first week (and 100M a year later). But, the tech wasn't really there yet. While it was amazing that we could merely think of a song and then buy it, we lost something in the process. Unlike our physical goods (albums, 8-tracks, cassettes and CDs) — which allowed us to resell them at secondary marketplaces like ebay, swap meets and more — it was (and is) illegal to resell or even give away our iTunes music. Apple had made it legal to download our music. But, we only bought a license to play. Now, with streaming, we have zero ownership. If you don't pay, you don't play.

Unique offerings.

Some of these albums include unique tracks, versions, bonus songs, early releases or other extra material you can’t get anywhere else. Each artist determines how they want to make their GoodTunes album a collectible.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does GoodTunes work?

Simple. You get invited by one of your favorite artists. Or, you can sign up with us and we can invite you to artists as they are launched. Once invited, you create an account, and buy the album. Then, you can play it on our free player.

How much do they cost?

Most EPs are around $15. Albums around $25. But, unlike old-fashioned digital music that only allows you to buy it (and it's illegal to resell it or give it away), you can resell your GoodTunes music or even hand it down to your kids.

Are there monthly fees?

No, you can register and use the platform for free. The only costs are related to the purchase of music.

Where can I play my music?

We created a built-in player so you can play all your songs, even (and specially) the exclusive ones or that haven’t been released into streaming yet.

How does GoodTunes benefit my favorite artist?

Currently Artists earn 3/10 of a penny on a stream that is listened to more than 30 seconds. If it's 29 seconds or less, not only does the Artist get paid $0.00, but they may lose their place in the streaming service's algorithm. With GoodTunes an Artist will earn around $13 of immediate income! At the same time, fans get a limited edition collectible of the music they love.

Is there a GoodTunes app?

Yes. However, we have temporarily removed it from the App Stores to refresh it. It will reappear in mid-Sept 2024.
